What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tech Lead, Database Administrator position at Midas Consulting?
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- A solid understanding of distributed/replicated database topologies.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer software, with expertise in Linux operating systems, storage, network I/O, and related principles.
- Track record monitoring and analyzing DB performance, isolating issues or bottlenecks that could impact reliability, performance and scalability.
- Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin) and/or experience working with APAC teams is a strong advantage.
Nice to have:
o Experience with distributed systems, big data, and SRE practices, including technologies like Kubernetes and Docker/Containers.
o Proficient in more than one scripting language (shell/Go/python, etc.)
o Azure experience is a plus but not required.
