Social Worker – Adult Behavioral Health (Days)

About the Role:
The Guidance Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed or Limited License Social Worker to join our Adult Behavioral Health team. This position focuses on providing crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services to adults with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver in-person and telehealth-based crisis intervention and therapy
- Support adults referred by local law enforcement
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Coordinate services and referrals within the community
- Share on-call rotation for crisis response (flexible)
- Provide trauma-informed, culturally competent care
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Michigan license (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP)
- Unlicensed candidates may be considered with 60-day licensure window
- Experience with adult mental health and/or substance use
- Must obtain QMHP and SATS within 120 days
- CAADC credential or MCBAP Development Plan (within 6 weeks)
- Strong communication, tech skills, and crisis handling ability
Compensation:
- Full License: $28.90–$38.89/hr
- Limited License: $26.68–$35.91/hr
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.64/mile
- $3,000 Sign-on bonus incentives every pay period!
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (rotational)
