Job Summary
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the medical field by conducting various laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Responsibilities
1. Performs standardized laboratory procedures and a variety of complex, analytical laboratory procedures within the area or section to which assigned; reviews test results for accuracy; completes reports.
2. Evaluates and implements new or revised laboratory procedures and techniques.
3. Reviews, interprets, and completes quality control procedures and technical troubleshooting.
4. Performs weekly preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.
5. Accessions samples for in-house testing and referral laboratory testing.
6. Helps secure media and supplies for research studies and manages trial supply requests.
7. Secures media and supplies for clinical testing and research studies and manages supply requests.
8. Assists in the review and revision of laboratory policies and procedures and in the preparation for laboratory inspections by various regulatory/accrediting agencies.
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience is required.
Additional Licenses and Certifications
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist or equivalent or eligibility to obtain certification within 2 years of hire date is required..

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
