Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. You will assist patients with activities of daily living and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Take and record vital signs
- Serve meals and assist with feeding
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
Skills
- Experience in various healthcare settings such as Level II Trauma Center, DME, Geriatrics, OR, Medical-surgical, Critical care, Long term care, Assisted living, Memory care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using healthcare systems for documentation and patient information management
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
