Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care in emergency situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency situations
- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist in critical care transport when necessary
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Experience in emergency room or critical care settings
- Proficiency in administering injections and dialysis procedures
- Knowledge of coding, MDS, and occupational health practices
- Familiarity with workers compensation law is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
