Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in progressive care units
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and medication management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Perform procedures such as ostomy care and acute pain management
- Utilize Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
Experience
- Previous experience in acute care nursing is required
- Knowledge of anatomy, pain management, and senior care is preferred
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interaction

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
