Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care to patients in a psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and behavior
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Skills
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care
- ACLS and CPI Strongly Preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Small critical access facility experience preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
