Automotive Technician/Emissions tester Overview:
Thank you for considering Midas to begin or continue your Automotive career. We are in need of a General Service Technician in our growing Torrington location. Although no previous automotive experience is required, preferred candidates will have 1 to 3 years of repair or quick lube experience. A passion for cars, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are recommended. No tools? No problem. We offer a starter tool set to new GS hires as a sign on bonus! At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. Automotive Technician/Emissions tester Requirements:
- Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also working well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of basic Automotive systems
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Automotive Technician/Emissions tester Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree a definite plus.
- Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines
- Reliable transportation
