Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance on best practices in automotive service.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Promote upselling of services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed, including shocks struts, air brake systems, and tire services.
- Maintain accurate records of cash handling and sales transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto service management or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including shocks struts, air brakes, and tire services.
- Excellent sales skills with a track record of upselling services effectively.
- Previous experience as a mechanic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
