Position Summary:
The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is a liaison between the organization and clients to provide solutions, including equipment information, service, maintenance, and repairs. The TSR will achieve sales and profit goals within a specified region, manage multiple client accounts, and recommend products or service enhancements to improve client satisfaction and sales potential to further support the organization’s mission and values.
Essential Functions:
- Identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with potential clients
- Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintains relationships with existing clients and vendors
- Acquires new customers, retains, and expands existing customer relationships
- Develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer issues and concerns
- Works with end users to install, inspect, maintain, operate, and/or repair equipment
- Recommends modifications to products and services
- Coordinates sales negotiations
- Meets sales volume and revenue goals
- Oversees and facilitates the delivery and installation of products
- Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information
- Travels to locations to inspect, service, and repair equipment
- Ability to travel more than 50%

Physical Demands
- Required to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time

Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or closely related field
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years’ relevant experience,
OR equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the job.
