Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile power units powered by natural gas. This role performs extensive fieldwork and provides technical support to ensure the efficient and safe operation of power generation equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Install, service, and repair natural gas-powered mobile power units at various client sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on power generation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power units.
- Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Ability to travel as required.
