Position Summary:
The Field Technician II position is responsible for support within the operations group accountable for providing technical skills and knowledge, assistance, and job coordination necessary for rig up, rig down, and installation of high-pressure lines used in completion operations.
Essential Functions:
- Train crews and introduce procedures to make work in the shop or on-site location safer and more effective
- Connect sections of spooled iron, using hand tools and powered wrenches
- Maintain and adjust required equipment and machinery to ensure proper performance
- Be available and on call 24 hours per day
- Ability to travel to job sites as designated
- Inspect and maintain company vehicles
- Clean and maintain site location for safety
- Assist in moving equipment from locations (rig up and rig down) Non-essential Functions:

- Understand the fundamentals of treating iron and the basics of rig up and rig down
- Technical understanding of mechanics and machinery
- Proper cleaning, dressing, and connecting of high-pressure union techniques
- Understand and identify various components of a completions rig up
- Identify and demonstrate proper use of all tools associated with rig up and rig down
