Description
JOB PURPOSE :
Provide practical experience using GIS on an enterprise level. Work assignments may include GNSS field data collection, data editing and enhancement, creating high quality thematic maps, building ArcGIS Web Applications, and utilizing other software and extensions as appropriate.
KEY FUNCTIONS :
- Support new services and technologies using GIS based software applications (Esri).
- Edit, manipulate and maintain geographic data using custom and 3rd party software.
- Perform established operations for quality assurance.
- Collect and enter raw data into the GIS software.
- Maintain computer database records for data files and GIS layer information.
- Collaborate with full-time GIS Staff on spatial analyses.
- Generate presentation quality maps using Esri software in a fast-paced communications environment.
- Integrate GIS to support advanced business services by providing detailed visual presentation maps.
- Provide weekly, monthly and annual reports as necessary
- Be ready, willing, and able to travel.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers
- Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
