What are the responsibilities and job description for the Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Analyst position at MIDCONTINENT INDEPENDENT SYSTEM?
Starting Salary Range: $69,000-$84,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate policy-focused discussions between MISO and stakeholders on energy industry matters.
- Plan and manage the annual meeting schedule for various functional groups.
- Support agenda development, material reviews, and process guidance for external entity leadership and MISO liaisons.
- Advise MISO staff on stakeholder engagement strategies and issue resolution.
- Manage meeting logistics, ensuring timely posting of materials and seamless execution.
- Develop and maintain issue tracking tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Communicate and coordinate across MISO departments to ensure effective issue tracking and resolution.
- Provide an excellent customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders.
What we are looking for…
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and governance structures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in parliamentary procedures and stakeholder relationship management.
- Familiarity with the energy industry is a plus.
