Job Summary
Middendorf Contracting, the area’s leading builder, is growing, and we are looking for a motivated residential salesperson to join our team! We are a turnkey general contractor for commercial and residential projects. We specialize in custom site-built, modular, and double/single-wide homes. This position requires managing multiple customers at once and holding one-on-one meetings with customers to effectively communicate the building process with current and potential customers. You must also have the willingness to put in time with your customers to ensure that they are making the right decisions when designing their homes, pricing options, and preparing their building lot as they move through the process. We are seeking a strong individual who will strive to provide the highest level of service for our customers. We expect the future team members in this position to match all these requirements in order to represent the company properly.
Pay: Based on experience plus 4% sales commission

Responsibilities:
· Listen and guide customers to find the right home for their needs and budget
· Manage multiple customers, designs, and pricing requests at once
· Facilitate the building process of custom/manufactured homes for customers
· Educate customers on our building standards
· Help customers prioritize their wish list to create great value for the customers
· Submit design and pricing requests
· Communicate with outside lenders, sub-contractors, and suppliers to assist customers with the overall process
· Work in the sales office daily during business hours and interact with retail customers in a professional manner
· Commit to a growth mindset in training and construction standards
Qualifications:
· Familiarity with construction/home building or a desire to learn about home building
· Previous experience in sales, preferably in a construction/ manufactured homes setting.
· Proven experience managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Ability to work and collaborate with people well
· High level of organization and efficiency
· Ability to self-start and problem solve
Schedule:
· Monday through Friday
· Saturdays as needed
