Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and progress of each child
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences
Skills:
- Special education experience to support students with diverse learning needs
- Classroom management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Childcare expertise to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students
- Knowledge of toddler care practices for effective early childhood development
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in math concepts to effectively teach foundational skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners through creative teaching methods
- Experience working in a daycare or similar educational setting
