What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Staff position at Middle Earth?
We are seeking after school professionals to join our amazing team! This is a great, hands on experience working with students between 3rd and 8th grade education levels. You will provide academic, artistic and/or cultural enrichment to students in the 21st CCLC Program.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students inside and outside during recreation and classes.
- Assist students with homework.
- Provide daily enrichment to program participants.
- Attend monthly staff meetings - cannot miss more than one per cycle.
- Refer youth to appropriate additional services.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Attend all necessary meetings for 21st Century, as deemed appropriate by Project Director.
- Attend a minimum of 12 hours of appropriate training, as per State contract.
- Complete all necessary surveys and evaluations.
- Complete quarterly progress reports for program participants.
- Attend all Family Engagement Evenings.
Hours: Depending on the district: Bound Brook 2:30pm- 6:00pm/ Manville 3:00pm- 6:30pm
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $19.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
