Description of Duties: Clinician is an important member of our multi-disciplinary team, provides comprehensive assessments, individual, group counseling, family counseling, and other treatment modalities within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. Participation as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, developing and implementing client-centered treatment plans and goal setting for serviced individuals. Complies with required productivity requirement as set forth by immediate supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
*** Sign on Bonus will be offered. ***Minimum Qualifications: Degree in a related field. Valid, Unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License. Current GA state licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse/Addiction Counselor.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years work experience in social services delivery (case management, outreach, prevention/education, individual assessments, group counseling). Two years substance abuse/addiction counseling experience that includes experience assessing and providing individual and group services. Computer proficient, keyboard proficient with basic computer and typing skills and have the ability to multi-task. CPR/First-aid/AED certification.
