Position Title: Administrative Support 1, FT

Services Area/Programs: AOP Therapy
Description of Duties: Effectively receive and enter client data into an electronic health system, Point of Entry (POE). Check clients in and out of their appointments. Make appointments and follow up appointments for clients and staff. Maintain staff schedules and department referrals. Verify schedules daily for accuracy. Verify Medicaid status and insurance eligibility daily. Check client authorization status daily. Check client financials, consents, and BHA assessments upon appointment. Review the Benchmark website for possible admissions daily, if required. Manages the suicide prevention client list, if required. Maintain the Hospital Discharge list and submit the report monthly. Collect client payments, process the payment in the ECR and forward the payment to Administration. Create, print, and mail client statements at the first of the month. Scan and upload documents to the client’s ECR. Answer calls, take messages, make copies, and send emails as needed. Performs appointment reminder and failed appointment calls daily. Develop/execute agency/departmental reports to show outcomes and statistics for the adult and/or C&A program (APEX), if required. Taking minutes for staff meetings/client staffing’s, as needed. Sort and distribute mail and faxes. Order supplies for front office, Outpatient program / C&A program. Maintain and perform safety drills and inspections. Provide coverage to other outpatient clinics as needed. Assist with other clinic duties as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. May have to travel to cover other work sites.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED AND Ability to perform basic office functions and computer related duties. Valid unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications: One year of clerical experience, demonstrate knowledge of the medical revenue cycle, proficiency in the use of various software applications, experience with various payment collection systems (i.e., credit card, debit card, checks), and/or experience in customer service. Knowledge of the prior authorization process.
