Position Title: Motor Vehicle Operator, FT

Description of Duties: (15 Passenger Van - Houston, Peach, & Crawford County, GA Area)
Under close to general supervision, transports passengers and /or mail and materials to assigned geographical areas. Ensures the Safety of vehicles and passengers. Transport Medicaid clients to and from doctors' appointments. Will perform and/or assist with routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of vehicles. Reports all accidents, incidents, and or breakdowns involving vehicles while in use. Take vehicles on recall to dealership for repairs. Completes and submits appropriate documentation for billing Medicaid trips with ModivCare. Maintains a consistent, high-quality customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services to customers, the public, or other external customers. Complete and or attend all mandated in-service training when scheduled. Assist with minor office duties such as vehicle paperwork, and maintenance records. Light janitorial services in the facility such as taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the restrooms. Will be required to monitor peers working in the supportive employment program for 2 hours per day. Monitoring peer group clients in the break area and outside while at the facility. Middle Flint Health & Wellness Motor Vehicle Operator will provide service to the following counties: Houston, Peach, and Crawford. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
Minimum Qualifications: Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License, CPR, and First Aid Certification. Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Basic computer knowledge/skills.
Preferred Qualifications: One to two years of experience with providing transportation for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders on (15) passenger van.
