Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Testing in the successful operation of all campus Testing Centers for Middle Georgia State University.
Responsibilities
Duty 1 -
Directs and supervises accommodated testing programs across five campuses to include collaboration with Accessibility Services.
Duty 2 -
Assists with the coordination and administration of other testing programs on multiple campuses.
Duty 3 -
Coordinates with vendors for testing services, software, products, support, and contract requirements.
Duty 4 -
Compiles data for the Director to determine resource allocation and management.
Duty 5 -
Conducts the administration of special testing programs to accommodate students.
Duty 6 -
Assists with community outreach efforts for the promotion of testing and student engagement.
Duty 7 -
Supports other Middle Georgia campus Testing Centers as needed.
Duty 8 -
Develops and maintains drafts of complex staff and testing schedules.
Duty 9 -
Collaborates with the Director for quarterly budgetary planning.
Duty 10 -
Facilitates training and meetings related to testing and proactively schedules staff recertification.
Duty 11 -
Escalates problems or issues that occur during test sessions as necessary and prepares the associated paperwork and documentation.
Duty 12 -
Provides guidance and resources to internal and external organizations regarding testing programs and provides assistance in other testing program areas.
Duty 14 -
Maintains and ensures the security of all test materials and schedules.
Duty 15 -
Admits and verifies eligibility of testing candidates and communicates test procedures and rules.
Duty 16 -
Monitors candidates and resolves conflicts during testing to ensure a secure and appropriate testing environment.
Duty 17 -
Conducts room environment checks at the beginning of each test session and cleans test area after use.
Duty 18 -
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Duty 19 -
Identifies as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Required Experience
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Sufficient experience to understand the advanced principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for three to five years.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of the guidelines and regulations for the tests administered.
Knowledge of general security principles for confidential information.
Knowledge of basic budget management principles.
Knowledge of standard office procedures.
Knowledge of basic Math, English and Grammar skills.
Skill in the management of complex schedules.
Skill in complex record keeping and filing systems.
Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs.
Skill in email communication.
Skill in written and oral communication.
