Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. Job Summary
The Campus Director promotes the Warner Robins Campus as a hub for academic excellence and strives to enhance its identity and role in serving both students and the Houston County community. The Director works, in conjunction with key MGA leaders and stakeholders, to evaluate, communicate and support operational and academic needs and opportunities. The Director is expected to recommend and develop creative solutions and innovative initiatives that will elevate Middle Georgia State University's influence and impact in the community. As part of a multi-campus institution, the Campus Director is essential for fully integrating and aligning the Warner Robins campus to fulfill MGA's overarching mission. This position requires a strategic and collaborative leader who can navigate a wide variety of professional and community engagement while effectively representing the University's mission and values to the Houston County community.
Responsibilities
Campus Operational Support (35%) -
Serves as a collaborative liaison and point of contact, responsible for oversite of the daily operations of the Warner Robins campus.
In collaboration with offices and institution divisions' supports strategic initiatives to ensure the successful functioning of the campus in achieving the strategic mission of Middle Georgia State University.
Responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with students, faculty and staff.
Collaborate with Facilities to address campus operational needs.
Manage and monitor campus budget.
Work with academic deans, chairs, and support staff to create an academic schedule each term and provide appropriate resources to support instruction on the campus.
Collaborate and provide guidance in support of continuing education initiatives held on the Warner Robins campus.
Community Engagement (35%) -
Promote Middle Georgia State University and its' academic programming to the Warner Robins, RAFB, and Houston County community.
Maintain, and nurture professional relationships with key community stakeholders in collaboration with institutional offices, functions, and divisions.
Take an active role with civic and community associations, clubs and organizations that promotes community engagement.
Share opportunities for new areas of university engagement in civic, economic, and governmental regional affairs.
Facilitate broad University involvement and opportunities to enhance our presence in the community and region and communicate internally those opportunities with internal university stakeholders.
Actively and visibly participate in MGA community engagement initiatives in Warner Robins and Houston County.
Academic & Student Engagement (20%) -
Collaborate closely with the Office of Student Affairs for leadership programs and community service projects.
Communicate with key leaders from various divisions for enrollment initiatives on the Warner Robins campus.
Collaborate with deans and other divisional leaders to inform programs, policies and procedure, enrollment trends, and operational needs for the Warner Robins campus.
Inform and support academic and student experience opportunities on the Warner Robins campus
Other Duties (10%) -
Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Vice President for External Affairs.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
Other Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of progressively elevated responsibilities in a senior level administrator position.
Required Experience
A minimum of 4 years' experience in a supervisory role.
Prior demonstrated experience and commitment to community-engaged programs and practices.
Preferred Qualifications

Resident of Houston County
Knowledge of military protocol or the completion of military protocol training.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in Public Service or Higher Education.
