Equipment Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of equipment, including automotive, diesel engines, farm machinery, and power tools. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Repair and maintain equipment including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Service and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Maintain and repair landscape machinery, such as tractors, mowers, 2 cycle equipment
- Use diagnostics tools to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Operate power tools and equipment to disassemble, assemble, and modify equipment as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of repair techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Experience working with farm machinery is highly desirable
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues using diagnostics tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in equipment repair
- Ability to transmit technical information clearly to clients or colleagues
