Wellness Center Attendant - Part-time Evenings
Reports to: Wellness Center Supervisor
Description: The Wellness Center Attendant/Fitness Trainer works under the direction and supervision from the Wellness Center Supervisor and Sports Therapy Supervisor, assisting clients and community rec members with access to facilities, classes, and general fitness programming. The Wellness Center Attendant will manage the day to day functioning and accessibility of the Wellness Center including providing proper oversight to ensure safe operation of the facility and its equipment.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintain all memberships and purchased services for members.
- Provide facility orientation and fitness evaluations for new members.
- Participate and ensure that the customers are given high quality services and direct support when needed in the fitness area.
- Ensure gym equipment is maintained per manufacturer’s recommendations and all exercise equipment is kept in good condition and cleaned per policy.
- Answers the department phone and schedules patients in a timely professional manner and communicates information to appropriate personnel and/or patient.
- Provide general oversight to Wellness Center Members
- Clean floors, windows and equipment nightly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Preferred Personal Trainer Certification
- BLS/AED certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding people and leadership skills.
- Physically fit, strong, agile and dexterous, and professional appearance and behavior.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and on public holidays.
Compensation: $18.03 to $23.00 DOE
Status: Part Time up to 15 hrs/week Evenings 5 pm - 8:30 pm some weekends Not Benefit Eligible
Location: Wellness Center - Kremmling
