The position of Housekeeping/ Janitorial responsible for:
- Carry cleaning supplies, by hand or using wheeled carts.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Clean floors, using brooms, mops, vacuums.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 1to 2 years of related experience.
Must possess a valid Driver's License, CPR/First Aid and TOVA. Must be certified turberculosis free 30days from hire and annually.
