The position of MAT Driver is responsible for:
- Must be at least 21years old.
- Valid Driver's license in standing to meet VA state requirements.
- Driver is responsible for following MPNN BH policy and procedure regarding authorized usage of vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to work ethically and independently with confidence, as well as working as integral part of a team of professionals.
- Must be mature, sensitive , emotionally stable, flexible and adaptable to varying situations.
- Ability to consistently adhere to MPNN BH policies and procedures.
- Ability to abide by agency code of ethics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidences.
- Non-judgemental acceptance of others.
- Ability to perform responsibilities/assignments with accuracy, and follow through on assignments, completes them on a timely basis and meets deadlines.
- Ability to read a map, use GPS device for assistance.
- Must participate in mandatory safety training offered by MPNN BH and/or Bay Transit authority.
Lived experience thriving with mental/emotional/and or substance abuse challenges, and a willingness to publicly acknowledge and share personal experiences. Serve as a recovery role model for consumers by representing their needs in the agency through the lens of lived experience. The ability to refute bias and stigmas regarding the ability of persons with lived experience to leas independent , productive lives.
Must possess valid Virginia Driver's License; CPR/First Aid Certifications, Medication Administration Certification, TOVA. Must be certified tuberculosis free 30 days from hire and annually.
