Director of Rehab

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Rehabilitation to join our healthcare team. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the rehabilitation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of medical office management and healthcare systems. Duties: - Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the rehabilitation department - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients - Oversee the utilization management process to ensure appropriate utilization of resources - Manage the financial aspects of the rehabilitation department, including budgeting, billing, and reimbursement - Implement and maintain practice management systems to streamline operations - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards - Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by the rehabilitation department - Stay up-to-date with advancements in rehabilitation techniques and technologies Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (Master's degree preferred) - Current licensure as a nurse or therapist (physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech therapist) - Proven experience in healthcare management, preferably in an acute care setting - Strong knowledge of medical office management principles and practices - Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to effectively manage financial resources - Proficient in utilizing computer systems for documentation and reporting We offer competitive compensation packages and comprehensive benefits. Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour
