About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,500 students and employs 800 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. We also have an 18-22 year old transition program for young adults with special needs.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research based intervention and support according to Individualized Education Program plans; and providing education and direction to school staff, family and related service providers regarding the student’s communication needs. FTE: 1.0
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for new-to-district teachers, August 19 and 20, 2025)
Salary Range: $46,417-$98,146. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract 2023-2025. Salary range listed ($46,417-$98,146) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for the current school year, and may increase with the negotiation of the 2025-2027 collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements & Qualifications
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from an ASHA accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
