Job Summary:
- To support the Engineering and Operations Teams by inspecting system improvement and construction jobs for compliance with engineering and construction standards and/or specifications.
- To generate reports of non-compliance with standards and/or specifications.
- To work with Engineering and Operations Teams to revise and develop specifications.
- To collect pole, equipment and land data for updating of GIS and work order data.
- Training and mentoring of engineering and operations team members to maximize quality and ensure adherence to codes and specifications.
- To promote a smooth and coordinated flow of department engineering material within the department and with other departments.
- To move to the senior level, the employee must demonstrate the ability to independently manage all the complexities of any type of project related to the position, maintain satisfactory job performance, and successful completion of all required training and recommendation of the supervisor. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in the E&O Quality Assurance Coordinator position is required.
Job Requirements:

- Four-year degree in a technical field from an accredited college plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience designing or constructing electric distribution lines or ten (10) years of experience designing or constructing electric distribution lines.
- This position requires extensive knowledge of line design, construction and NESC codes.
- Must be proficient in computer systems, including GPS equipment and procedures or proficiency in power line design and construction standards.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to coordinate, communicate and interact effectively with employees across multiple departments.
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
