Ophthalmic Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting ophthalmologists and optometrists in delivering high-quality eye care services. This position requires a blend of technical skills, patient interaction, and knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology.

Duties

• Conduct preliminary eye examinations, including taking patient histories and recording vital signs.
• Assist in the administration of diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Maintain and update medical records with precision, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Provide patient education on eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to explain test results and treatment plans to patients effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience
