We are seeking a dedicated Bus Monitor to ensure the safety and well-being of students during their bus rides. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students on the bus to maintain order and safety
- Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus
- Implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Communicate effectively with students, bus drivers, and school staff
- Provide support to students with special needs as required
Skills
- Experience working with children or in a childcare setting
- Ability to educate and engage students during the bus ride
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and student behavior management
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Background in special education or conflict management is advantageous
