What are the responsibilities and job description for the MA Licensed Plumber ~ Facilities/Maintenance Worker position at Middleborough Public Schools?
This position provides assistance with the planning and implementation of maintenance construction and renovation activities necessary to maintain the buildings in excellent repair and condition.
1.Carry out plans and directions from the Director of Facilities and the Superintendent of Schools
2.Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work, and operate a variety of equipment in the construction operation, repair and maintenance of facilities
3.Perform all plumbing work and other minor building repairs to electrical, furniture, lights, doors, windows, etc. as needed
4.Operate and maintain light and medium size construction and power equipment
5.Move bulk material such as boxes of supplies, books, etc.
6.Move furniture such as desks, chairs, file cabinets, bookcases, etc.
7.Snow Removal
8.Painting
9.Comply with Safety Rules and Regulations and satisfy OSHA requirements
10.Perform responsibilities in a professional manner
11.Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents, and school issues
12.Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Facilities or the Superintendent
