What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Middlebourne Galaxy Food Center?
This position will provide prompt, friendly, reliable service and assistance to customers at the checkout. Applicant should be interested in creating a unique and satisfying shopping experience that will exceed our guests' expectations. No experience needed but basic math skills and understanding customer service are required.
Tasks
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
- Greet customers entering establishments.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional InformationCashier experience not required but is helpful. Applicants 14 & 15 years of age must obtain work permit.
