Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development team. This role will be pivotal in designing and developing high-quality eLearning modules, enhancing technical training delivery, and creating comprehensive training programs for both technical and non-technical skills. The ideal candidate will regularly collaborate with subject matter experts from all business units of the organization and will be instrumental in a newly formed strategic initiative to improve quality metrics through targeted training interventions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging eLearning modules using Articulate and other eLearning authoring tools.
- Create training content, incorporating multimedia elements to enhance learning experiences.
- Develop quizzes and interactive elements to ensure understanding and retention.
- Work closely with internal SMEs to identify training needs and create relevant content.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to enhance SMEs' ability to develop and deliver technical training effectively.
- Develop both technical and non-technical (soft skills) workshops and training programs.
- Leverage existing source content and create new materials to address identified training needs.
- Ensure all training materials adhere to adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Collaborate closely with HSE and Quality professionals to address and mitigate historical and current safety and quality issues through targeted training solutions.
- Upload and manage eLearning modules on the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
