Middlesex county is seeking a full time certified Medical Assistant to join our compassionate care team in a large fast paced public health TB Control center. As a Medical Assistant you will help physicians, nurses, and other staff with clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Clinical tasks may include taking patient medical histories, preparing and cleaning examination rooms, taking & recording patient vital signs, administer medications and vaccinations and perform venipuncture procedures.
- Administrative responsibilities may include scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, completing medical forms and lab slips.
- Candidate will have certification as a medical assistant from an accredited school with certificate in phlebotomy.
- Experience with electronic health record and computer required. Bilingual preferred.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include health & dental insurance, paid time off and pension plan.
