Position Highlights
Department: Hospital Access - Outpatient Center
Hours: 32 hours/week
Shift: Days, 1st Shift
Shift Details: Days, 1st Shift (Will work between the hours of 7a-5p)
This position does not require Sundays or holidays.
Position Summary:
Responsible for various patient -related access duties which include registering and processing patients to ensure Department and Hospital access and financial goals are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient typing/keyboard skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced customer service environment
Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, and inter-personal)
Flexibility of hours necessary to ensure department scheduling are met
Professional appearance
One year experience in a hospital or medical office including insurance and medical terminology
