Anti-Coagulation Nurse Practitioner
Position Highlights

- Hours: 32 hours per week (This is a benefits eligible position).
Position Summary
The Anticoagulation Nurse Practitioner , in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy leadership, in accordance with established policies and procedures, will provide medication therapy managementto provide the safest and highest quality care for our patients.
This position is for 32 hours per week, day shift. The current schedule is Tuesday through Friday, but there is room for flexibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification of satisfactory completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Connecticut Licensure as a nurse practitioner.
- Upon hire, must apply for Medical Staff privileges at Middlesex Hospital.
- Good patient, provider and staff communication skills
- Strong commitment to working with patients and staff from a wide range of ethnic, economic, cultural and social backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to handle internal and external issues in a calm, positive, and professional manner
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in anticoagulation, warfarin management, or cardiology
