Position Details
This position offers 10-12 shifts per month, 30-36 hours per week.
Shift times are 4pm-4am and 7pm-7am.
Admit and consult with specialists, respond to RRTs and codes, and cross-cover 60–75 patients on some nights.
Handle an average of 8–10 nightly admissions, often in collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers.
Perform pre-operative assessments and co-manage surgical patients.
Closed ICU.
No procedures required.
Night staffing is staggered and includes three physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers.
Qualifications
MD or DO licensed in Connecticut.
DEA and CDS licenses.
Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (within 5 years).
Previous experience as an attending hospitalist is preferred but not required.
