The Protective Services Officer is responsible for but not limited to:
- Patrolling and monitoring hospital grounds, off-sites and parking lots.
- Emergency response to security incidents
- Conflict resolution
- Asset protection
- Collaboration with hospital staff
- Documentation and reporting
- Continuous training and education
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- CT State Security Officers ID Card required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation – travel to our off-sites is required
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement or military service is strongly preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse individuals
- Demonstrates good judgment, flexibility in changing circumstances, compassion
