Position Summary :
The Specimen Processor Technical Assistant receives specimens from all procurement areas and orders laboratory tests based on physician orders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to : processing specimens for specific departments / locations in the laboratory and preparing specimens to be sent out to Reference Laboratories.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Biology
Previous laboratory experience
