What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasonographer - OB/GYN position at Middlesex Hospital?
Day Shift/16 hours a week
Location: 49 Crescent Street Middletown - OB/GYN
Schedule: Mondays and Fridays 8am-5pm with flexibility for coverage during the week
Position Summary:
Using independent judgment, the Ultrasonographer performs a variety of ultrasound exams in work environments which may include the interventional procedures and operating room.
Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to ultrasound procedures.
Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services.
Minimum Requirements:
ARDMS Certified to include OB/GYN, abdomen and small parts.
Excellent attendance record and flexibility with scheduling are a must.
Demonstrates technical expertise and competency in all ultrasound procedures.
Demonstrates flexibility and promotes teamwork inter and intradepartmental.
