What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Programs Coordinator position at Middletown Area School District?
Applications are being accepted for a 12-month, hourly position available immediately. Hours will fluctuate based on the needs on the program activities to include, evenings and weekends. This position provides hands-on administration of all recreation programs of the Middletown Area Recreation Alliance (“MARA”) to meet social, cultural, educational, physical and wellness needs within the Middletown Area School District community.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in recreation or a related field with one (1) or more years of experience in recreation operations, preferably in a community-based setting. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain certification as a Park & Recreation Professional. Candidates with a Playground Safety Inspector. Cert are preferred.
