What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Support Specialist II position at Middletown Area School District?
Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 12 month (260 days) position available immediately. This position will provide front-line customer service for installation, troubleshooting, end-user support, and mobile device management. The position is also responsible for diagnosing, resolving, and documenting end-user incidents; researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems; inventory maintenance; and installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software. In addition, the position will assist the Director of Technology in recommending, quoting and requisitioning technology equipment and supplies. The position will also research and review developments in technology and technological innovations geared toward District planning for technology use.
Applicants should possess an Associates degree in a technology related field with at least (3) years of experience in technology repair and support, preferably in a K-12 environment. High School diploma required in lieu of Associates degree with at least two additional years of equivalent experience in technology repair and support.
