Position/Title: Homebound Tutor
Broad Function: Homebound Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are unable to attend school. Hours vary based on student need.
Duties:
? Various hours, times, grade levels and subject areas
? Work 1:1 with student at public library or home
? Document work completed
? Maintain communication with Department of Student Services and Special Education
Supervised By: Pupil Services
Qualification Profile:
? Bachelor’s Degree required
? Candidate should demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students and possess a personable relationship with teachers.
? Consideration will be given to the following:
- Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form.
- Various life/work experiences that contribute to the candidate's overall preparedness.
- Prior experience working with school age children.
Benefits: $31 Per Hour
