STATUS
This position will be filled according to Civil Service rules by provisional appointment pending Civil Service Examination.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration or a related field, and two year's experience in a financial institution or school district (school district experience is preferred).

DUTIES
Responsible for accurate financial record keeping for a school district as mandated by State Education Law
Receive money from collectors and make deposits
Project revenues available to the school district
Work cooperatively with the Superintendent and the Board of Education in preparation of the annual appropriation resolution and spending plan for the school district
Prepare reports and statements concerning district finances
Monitor capital project spending
Customary duties associated with the position
SALARY
Salary will be determined according to the MDSA Bargaining Unit Agreement
