Middletown Honda is looking to add an Automotive Service Technician to our team!
The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction. Helping satisfied customers drive away with a smile on their face is what we do.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with the dealership and manufacturer standards
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirement
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
- Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures
- Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed of any additional services that may be needed
- Provide an estimate of time need for addition repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 2 years of prior automotive repair experience preferred
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
