What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service BDC Representative position at Middletown Nissan?
Middletown Nissan is seeking a Service BDC to join our growing team!
The incumbent must be accurate, customer-focused and able to handle customer issues effectively.
As a BDC Rep, this position is key to creating a customer friendly environment. This is a Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week. Must be available to work flexible shifts including days, and weekends.
Job Duties:
- Call customers to schedule follow up appointments for their vehicle to maintain adequate vehicle health
- Handle incoming calls to set up service appointments
- Call customers with recalls outstanding
- Reach out to local customers for free inspections
- Change and update customer information in computer system
- Answer phones and direct customer to the proper advisor or manager
- Follow up with all customers in a timely manner
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Down load lists of customers that are in need of Maintenance work
- Able to work with Excel
- Check with Management at the end of each shift before leaving the dealership to make sure they do not need anything additional.
- Proactively go after service business.
- Perform any other special duties as requested by Dealer and other Managers
- Regular attendance consistent with attendance policy
- Able to have a flexible work schedule.
Job/Education Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management
