The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide essential support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
The LPN will utilize nursing processes, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality direct resident care, enhancing safety and care quality.
The LPN will administer nursing treatments and medications, closely observing residents for both desired and undesired effects.
This position includes effectively communicating and collaborating with care team members to continually update the Nursing Care Plan and address any pertinent findings, including lab results and resident concerns.
The LPN will diligently monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and resident responses to ensure comprehensive care.
Supervising, organizing, and evaluating the delivery of care by resident CNAs aligning with resident needs and staff competency is required.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an approved Nursing School.
Current New York state LPN license in good standing.
Strong dedication to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
A cooperative spirit, passion for caregiving, and enthusiasm are essential for facilitating an optimal rehabilitation environment.
A genuine desire to assist residents who are ill, injured, elderly, or facing challenges.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills are required.
The ability to thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively with all staff members is necessary.
