What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transport Specialist position at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare?
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Transport Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting residents to various locations within the facility, including therapy, Beauty Shop, dining rooms, recreation programs, and clinics. You will also assist with delivering supplies to the Nursing Units and working closely with Recreation staff during outings.
The ideal candidate will possess a current CNA Certification in New York State and have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills. They should be able to remain calm in emergency situations and demonstrate a genuine interest in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, and sometimes challenging residents. Strong teamwork and time management skills are also essential.
