The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide essential support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the scope of nursing practice.
Utilize nursing processes, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality direct resident care while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications while monitoring residents for any desired or unwanted effects.
Communicate and collaborate with care team members to update the Nursing Care Plan, incorporating any relevant findings such as lab / test results and incidents.
Monitor and document vital signs, administered treatments, and residents' responses effectively.
Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care provided by CNAs based on residents' needs and staff competency.
Requirements :
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current New York LPN license in good standing.
Commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate, and clinically sound care.
A cooperative spirit and enthusiasm for fostering an atmosphere of rehabilitation and optimal health.
Genuine interest in assisting ill, injured, disabled, or elderly residents, including those with challenging behaviors.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential.
Able to work well under pressure and collaborate harmoniously with all staff.
